Benefits of the FEHB Program

Immediate Coverage - You will receive immediate coverage from the effective date of enrollment without a medical examination or restrictions because of your age or physical conditions.

Salary deduction for your share - After the Government pays its share toward the total premium, you pay the rest. Your premiums are done through payroll deductions so that you do not have to worry about mailing any payments into your carrier.

Annual Opportunity - You will have an annual opportunity called open season to enroll or change plans. The Office of Personnel Management schedules the open seasons. During the open seasons you may enroll if you are eligible and are not now enrolled; change from one plan to another or from self only to family.
