Note, 7/10/01: Schedule for Determination of Competitive Range and Discussions

As shown on the schedule page, the determination of the competitive range is anticipated to be announced to the individual offerors during the month of July. The schedule for discussions with those offerors who are in the competitive range will be based on the date of announcement of the competitive range. Offerors will be allowed approximately two weeks, after notification that they are in the competitive range, to prepare for discussions with DOE. Details on the subjects, location, and logistics for discussions will be included in the letters to those offerors in the competitive range. As previously stated in the Questions and Answers (Section L, No. 1) offerors will be requested to address the weaknesses or clarifications identified by DOE in the letter to those offerors in the competitive range. Other than a brief general overview of the proposal, a detailed presentation on the entire proposal will not be required. After discussions are concluded, offerors will be given the opportunity to submit revised, written proposals.
